Dropzone is a Sypher feature that provides a secure space for collecting sensitive data. It allows you to easily receive confidential information from multiple sources without managing separate requests. By sharing a Dropzone link, you can streamline the submission process, ensuring all necessary data from your users is gathered in one secure location.

You can embed Dropzone within your website, chat application, etc to gather and collect information securely. It provides secure, flexible access for you and your users. Follow the steps below after logging in to your account to get started.

I. Step-By-Step Guide

1) Enter Passphrase

When you click the “Dropzone” button, you will be prompted to enter a passphrase. This passphrase is the same one used to get into the Request module. Make sure to create a secure passphrase and remember it, as you will need it later to access dropzone.

2) Add Dropzone Details

Here you name your Dropzone and add a suitable description. Note that these details are required to create the Dropzone.

3) Choose Form Option

Sypher provides two options for creating a form: “Select Template” and “Start from Scratch.” This feature is also in the Request module. Below is designed for users who want to start from scratch. Feel free to create your own templates to save time in future.

For more details, please refer to the Form Builder Options section.

4) Modify Access Settings

Modify the access date range to set the desired availability period for your Dropzone.

5) Configure Origins

The Origins setting allows you to specify the URL/domain from which your users can access your Dropzone. The default origin is app.defencestation.com. Add/remove the allowable origin URL(s) as needed or simply type “*” to enable from any origin.
